Claire is an experienced customer experience consultant who helps start-ups to solve their conversion & retention headaches with her consultancy, auditing and training services. She has worked alongside clients that include; Tottenham Hotspur, GiffGaff and T-Mobile.
She contacted me because she felt the time was right to take the plunge and create a professional looking visual identity for her business. She also wanted a basic website where she would be able to write occasional blog posts.
During the course of her work, she had also come to realise that she often needed to create the same sketches repeatedly in order to explain her key concepts and so wanted to streamline this process by creating a set of diagrams that she would be able to use time and time again.
Claire wanted a brand that felt like it belonged to an individual rather than an agency and that it wouldn’t be in any way corporate. She also wanted to include elements of her own personality, including her love of bright colours and sketching out ideas. She also confided in me that she was ever so slightly obsessed with Post-it notes.
I created a brand for her that incorporates these passions by designing a logo that features a hand written typeface and a brightly coloured square, that conceptually represents an idea jumping off a piece of paper. The simple colour palette is loosely based on her favourite paper notes.
The hand-drawn theme was carried through to the illustration style and is used throughout the website and blog. Claire's presentation and process diagrams continue in the same vein, aiding her to present her ideas in an easily understandable way.
Deliverables included; A logo, website, social media assets, illustrated diagrams and a set of basic brand guidelines.
