Claire is an experienced customer experience consultant who helps start-ups to solve their conversion and retention problems with her bespoke auditing, consultancy and training services. She has worked alongside clients that include; Tottenham Hotspur, GiffGaff and T-Mobile.
She contacted me to create a new visual identity and website for her business that would feel personal, yet look professional. It was important for her to present herself as an individual rather than an agency, and above all, to avoid looking corporate in any way. Claire was also keen to include elements of her own personality into the new identity, including her love of bright colours and sketching out ideas. She also confessed that she was ever so slightly obsessed with Post-it notes.
Additionally, Claire had recently realised that she was repeatedly creating the same sketches in order to explain key concepts to clients, and wanted to streamline this process by introducing a set of illustrated concept diagrams that she'd be able to use time and time again.
I created a personal brand for Claire that includes a logo in a hand-drawn typeface on a representation of a Post-it. Conceptually, this represents an idea jumping off a piece of note paper. The simple colour palette is also based on her beloved Post-it notes.
The hand-drawn theme was carried through to the illustration style and is used throughout the website and blog. Claire's illustrated concept diagrams continue in the same vein, aiding her to present key concepts to clients in an easily understandable way, time and time again.
Final deliverables included; A logo, website, social media assets, illustrated concept diagrams and a basic brand guideline document.
