Mindjumpers

A Danish digital agency in London

Katie Cooks

Background

I joined Mindjumpers as the senior designer shortly after they opened their London office at the beginning of 2016. The agency was doing well in Copenhagen and hoped to expand into the UK market. Much like a start-up, the London office had to be self sufficient from the off and needed a small team that was adaptable, open to challenges and happy to get their hands dirty. From the start this meant I would work on all things visual within the company, learning new skills when needed and supporting our junior designers in Copenhagen.

The work featured here provides an example of some of the latest work I have produced for the company, namely their most recent rebranding.

Rebranding

This latest iteration of the Mindjumpers brand is based on a very basic colour palette that gives a nod to our minimalist nordic heritage, likewise the Mindjumpers “M” was chosen as a the simplest manifestation of our identity and elements of it have been used throughout the rebranding, it has been underlined with gold to represent how we try to make work that stands out from the crowd while giving a colourful pop of modernity to an otherwise simple backdrop of black and white.
